Meet Dr. Gabriele Germana

Dr. Gabriele Germana grew up in Connecticut in his family's restaurant — the kind of place where regulars became friends and every plate that left the kitchen carried the family name — and he went to work there before most kids learn to drive. Bussing tables and greeting guests, he absorbed a lesson that would quietly shape everything that followed: look after people honestly, and they'll trust you with what matters most. The product has changed many times since. That principle never has.

Service has always been part of the Germana family story. Gabriele's late father proudly served in the Italian Navy, instilling in his family a deep sense of duty, discipline, and commitment to others. Today, that tradition continues through Gabriele's brother, a radiologist who serves as a Captain in the United States Navy. His sister, a nurse, has devoted her career to caring for others in the medical field. And at the center of it all is their mother — the glue that keeps the family close, even as her children have built their lives in different states.

That same sense of family, service, and connection has stayed with Gabriele throughout his life. His path eventually carried him a long way from the family table — all the way to Florence, Italy, where he studied and fell for a slower, more deliberate way of doing things, built on real craftsmanship and real relationships. He brought that sensibility home and never stopped learning, earning along the way a Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut, a Master of Science from Boston University, a Doctor of Education from Liberty University, and a Graduate Certificate from the Wharton School of Business — an education he treats less like a trophy shelf than a toolkit.

What the doctorate really reveals about him is simple: at heart, he's a teacher. His road to Naples was the best kind of surprise. On vacation, he met the woman who would become his wife, then visiting from Cleveland, Ohio, and somewhere between that first conversation and the life they built together, Southwest Florida became home.

Gabriele's insurance career began early, at Travelers Insurance in Hartford, Connecticut. Drawing on more than 25 years of experience in finance, Gabriele built a career helping individuals, families, and businesses make informed decisions to protect and grow what matters most. That experience inspired him to found Azzura Insurance Group with one simple goal: to provide honest advice, exceptional service, and insurance solutions tailored to each client's unique needs.

Today, Naples is far more than where his agency is located; it's where he and his wife are raising their two children alongside the family dog, and where the neighbors he serves are also the community he's proud to call home.
